Karuppan (vijay sethupathi) who is a drunkard, from a low class family taking care of his widow mother who is not able to talk ... wins mahi’s (Pasupathi) sister - anbu (Tanya ravichandran) in a bulls festival aka jallikattu ... but mahi agrees for the wedding because of karuppan‘s kind heart ... Anbu and karuppan are happily married but her cousin kadher (bobby simha) is in love with Anbu but this wedding makes him do things that’s not right .. so he plans plots to bring karuppan’s respect down and will be successful .. kadher has only one ambition to get married to anbu ... how and what all does kadher do to get anbu ... he even goes to an extent of trying to kill karuppan..where does this leave karuppan and anbu is the story.
