Trailer
In full disclosure, while I rated this just a star and a half, my wife said she would give it four stars. Really what it shows you is that everyone has an opinion I guess. First off, to me this movie really did some false advertising in the previews. I was thinking this was going to be all about death defying work to survive a plane crash on a mountain in the middle of nowhere. Instead it is really a "chick flick" on a mountain in the middle of nowhere. I mean when the third act comes and I'm secretly pulling for a mountain lion to come along and eat the main characters, you know this isn't an adventure flick. The main stars are certainly capable enough, but I'm going to bet guys will grow tired of Kate Winslet (as I did). I guess there are worse chick flicks to take your lady to these days, so if you have to take one for the team I guess this one would do, otherwise this is a stay away for me.
